Today, you turn another year older. I just wanted to share a few things about you that I hope you will love to read about when you're older. I'm sure you may roll your eyes too, when I say that I just can't believe you are FOUR YEARS old. The last four years have FLOWN by and while my mama heart is so sad to see those baby years fly by, I know there are still SO many exciting firsts for you. Because, with every year you grow older, comes new firsts. First day of school, first loose tooth, first time you ride your bike without training wheels, first time you go to a sleepover all by yourself... I could go on and on. So, I will remember that as we celebrate your birthday this weekend.
You, my girl are a ball of fire. That hasn't changed through your four years with us. You are a girl with spit fire determination and by golly, you don't let anyone stand in your way. Your favorite place to be is tucked right into my right side, with my arm draped around you. If you have your blanket and thumb (which by the way, can we work on that this year, my girl?) you're set to go! If your favorite place is by my side, your second favorite place is right with your big sister. You love her oh so much and you have a such a special relationship with her that makes me almost double over in infinite joy. And your daddy? Even though you may prefer Mama some days, there is nothing better than seeing you curled up on the couch with your dad and then chasing each other when he brings out the "claw." You adore him and the time you spend together.
You do everything big. You love big, you cry big and you are a force to be reckoned with. You are made for warm weather and I'm not sure where life will take us but I imagine you living it up in someplace warm when you get older. You are wild and free, curly hair flowing, barefoot and living life to its fullest.
