Welcome back, Monday! We had a busy, fun filled three day weekend! It was full of summer activities and celebrating the Fourth of July.
On Thursday night we started the holiday with going to the Yankee Doodle Pops- it was our first time and it was so much fun! Good music, good food and great weather and fireworks to top it all off!

| My gals relaxing and listening to the music on a beautiful night! On Friday, we ran a few errands and got MOST of what we need to welcome our new furriest member to the family. We are so excited to bring this little guy home!!  We came home, ate lunch and took naps. After naps, we headed to the West Des Moines parade.  Mom, why are we sitting on a curb by the street?! On Saturday, we decided to head to the Des Moines Downtown Farmer's Market...       We ran home for a quick lunch and headed to the pool  And then this ensued......  Once we were all rested up, it was off to Raccoon River Park for FIREWORKS!

 We look forward to a quiet week- I start a "new" job tomorrow. I get to sit through an orientation that I've already been through- guess that will teach me for leaving! Wish me luck! :) I am hoping to get a haircut in sometime and that's about it! Have a great MONDAY and we'll see you back here on Wednesday! Thanks again for stopping by! |
